An Isokinetic machine is both an exercise device and a measuring device, that uses the principles of isokinetics. The Cybex Isokinetic Device can test the specific muscle strength at various joints (Ankle, Knee, Hip and Shoulder) in a variety of movement patterns.

Exercise is executed at a specific velocity: no matter how much force your muscle produces, the Isokinetic machine will equal it. This principle makes it an excellent rehabilitation device, one can safely strengthen/ test throughout the range of motion of the joint.
